Join us for our first-ever Summer Solstice Blues Fest on Friday, June 16!
Local bands will share their live music with a family-friendly crowd in our mural-lined courtyard, including Memphis P. Tails, Felix Y Los Gatos, and Levi Platero, who hails from the Navajo Nation. Our museum exhibits and gift shop will also be open late for the fest, offering something fun for everyone.
Funds raised through ticket sales of $20 each will go to support our Traditional Native Dance Program, which highlights an important and vital aspect of Native American culture: song and dance.
“Song and dance are central to our communities and an important part of passing along our Pueblo values to our youth,” says our Museum Director, Monique Fragua (Jemez Pueblo). “We’re excited to bring people together for a night of music in support of our dance program!”
The on-site Pueblo Harvest Cafe will host a beer garden alongside the stage, complete with appetizers like Fried Kool-Aid Pickles representing their popular New Native American Cuisine. Among the craft beers on offer will be brews by Bow & Arrow Brewing Co., a local Native-owned brewery that opened in 2016 and recently partnered with PHC to offer their creations in the restaurant.
Show your support and be part of the festivities for a night of summer fun!
