Everyone is welcome to join us for a day of dance and culture as we reclaim the day commonly known as Columbus Day. Meet three young contemporary Pueblo artists as they use this day to give a voice to the legacy of their ancestors through their art. Feel the inspiration they find from their past and gain a deeper understanding and respect for stories told through art. The day will begin with silence and a morning prayer, followed by live art demonstrations, art vendors, and traditional Native dances throughout the day.
Free with museum admission.
This celebration coincides with the festivities of our Balloon Fiesta Week!
