Summer vacation is just around the corner, and the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center is pleased to announce that it will offer two, two -week sessions of its celebrated summer day camp this year.

Our first session is designed for students 6-9 years old and will take place
Monday - Friday June 20 - July 1, 2011, 9a to 3pm.

Our second session is designed for students 10-12 years old and will take place
Monday - Friday, July 11-22, 2011, 9a to 3pm.

Each camp is an immersion based experience, exploring Pueblo culture, history, art, music, agriculture and cooking. Each session will feature workshops with world renowned Pueblo potters, painters, chefs and musicians. Campers will work in our newly expanded garden and living landscape with Pueblo farmers who are continuing the millennia old Pueblo agricultural tradition, and will learn from our dedicated Pueblo camp staff about the thousand year old Pueblo culture.

The last day of each session will be dedicated to the cooking of a Pueblo feast to which all campers' families are invited. Campers will work directly with Pueblo cooks to bake traditional bread and make the celebratory closing feast.
