The Counter-Narrative

The Counter Narrative was our monthly lecture and panel discussion series that offered an Indigenous perspective on a variety of topics, including history, culture, current events, and subjects of debate.

We’ve updated to a new podcast format, produced by Geoff Kie (Laguna Pueblo), Digital Media Producer for the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center and focused on active members of our Indigenous communities who are young professionals, elders, organizers, seed keepers, and artists. New episodes will be out on the 3rd Wednesday of each month.

Today’s guest, Kevin Beltran shares his own story of how he found photography, his approach to capturing stills, and shares some of his recent work at the Lapis Room in Old Town.
